The Holy Father will celebrate 60 years of priesthood on the Solemnity of Sts Peter & Paul. To mark this occasion the church throughout the world are of-fering 60 hours of Eucharistic Adoration for the Holy Father‘s intentions and for ―the sanctification of the clergy and for obtaining from God the gift of new and holy priestly vocations.‖ (Congregation for the Clergy). Archbishop Conti has asked that we join in this world-wide prayer by hosting an hour of Eucharistic Adoration in each parish, if possible on the actual solemnity of the holy apostles. I propose to expose the Blessed Sacrament after the 10am Mass on Wednesday, finishing with Benediction at 11.30am. I encourage you all to join this meritorious initiative.
